Job Description

Job Summary: Proficiently perform teller functions, processing transactions accurately and balancing according to the bank's standards, procedures, and policies. Broaden customer relationships by providing account solutions to customer needs and requests through account opening and maintenance activities. Be a passionate advocate of Needham Bank, demonstrating its core values within the community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate awareness, commitment, and dedication to servicing and building customer relationships.
• Gain full knowledge of the products and services offered by the bank.
• Provide a complete range of customer services, including opening new accounts, explaining bank products, and gathering customer information.
• Promote bank products, contribute to referrals, and resolve customer inquiries concerning accounts or other banking services.
• Ensure operational compliance and adherence to bank policies and procedures.
• Understand and perform the teller function thoroughly.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
• Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.

Required Experience & Job Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturday mornings.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Basic keyboard and computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with a calculator.
• Strong business acumen and professionalism.
• Ability to build relationships, exceed customer expectations, adapt to change, and be reliable and motivated.
• Reliable transportation; occasional travel may be required.
• Fluency in Portuguese preferred.
• Willing to become a Notary Public in MA.
• Adherence to Needham Bank's core values.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two+ years of teller or cash handling experience with accurate balancing records.
• Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
