Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant to support residents at The Barclay at Clemson. The role covers morning and afternoon shifts, with opportunities for full-time or part-time employment. A caring, patient approach and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities include companionship, daily living assistance, health-status reporting, light housekeeping, and engagement activities to promote resident well-being. CNA is preferred but not mandatory, depending on state rules.

Qualifications

• Caring demeanor and compassionate service to seniors.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Experience with older adults is preferred.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required depending on state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance with activities of daily living.

Personal Assistant (6a-2p) (2p-10) Full time/Part time

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
