Location: MELLISSA, TX 75454
Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Summary: Shift Leads run a shift but do not have authority over other employees. The Shift Lead’s job is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and confirm that operational standards are maintained at all times during their shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer receives world‑class customer service.
• Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.
• Complete and oversee daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).
• Complete and oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness, and complete daily paperwork as necessary.
• Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.
• Display a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit all day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

Special Requirements

• Willing to work evenings, holidays, weekends as business dictates.
• Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Handle and resolve customer threats and issues.
• Handle stress and a high‑volume enterprise.
