Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey is seeking a Coordinator to oversee Pre Vocational and Day Habilitation services for up to 30 individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. You will guide person-centered planning to help participants reach their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities include maintaining compliant documentation, updating Habilitation and Person-Centered Plans, supervising Direct Support Professionals, and coordinating group and individual

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited school in related field, required.
• At least one year of work experience in mental health, vocational rehab, or case management preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Pre Vocational and Day Habilitation services for up to 30 individuals.
• Ensure documentation meets funding source and oversight agency standards within timeframes.
• Develop and update Habilitation Plans and Person-Centered Plans for each individual.
• Oversee Direct Support Professionals implementation of services to individuals.
• Visit sites to supervise activities, monitor progress, and coordinate schedules.
• Assist with petty cash, MetroCard, transportation reimbursements, and safety drills as needed.
