Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead construction permitting and regulatory approvals across the project lifecycle in the United States. You will interface with AHJs, utilities, planning departments, and local agencies to keep projects moving.

You will manage the permit matrix, track milestones, coordinate submissions with architects and engineers, and mitigate risks to the schedule. Local market knowledge and strong stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction permitting or regulatory approvals.
• Experience with AHJs, municipalities, utilities, and local agencies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple permits and deadlines concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead permitting and regulatory approvals across the project lifecycle.
• Interface with AHJs, building and fire officials, planning/zoning departments, utilities, and local agencies.
• Maintain the permit matrix, approval schedule, and milestones.
• Coordinate permit submissions with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project leadership.
• Identify permitting risks that could impact the project schedule.
• Build relationships with government and community stakeholders.
