Job summary

Maas Energy Works, Inc. is seeking a Permitting and Compliance Coordinator to join the Safety & Compliance team. You will manage permit execution on projects, coordinate with state and local agencies, and track schedules, applications, and mitigation measures in collaboration with Project Management.

Occasional travel to CA Central Valley and out-of-state projects is required. Ideal candidates will have a degree in environmental fields, knowledge of NEPA/CEQA and air quality permitting, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with NEPA, CEQA, CDFW, Transportation Agencies, Groundwater Management preferred.
• Air Quality Permitting highly preferred.
• Experience in construction processes and aligning permit timelines preferred.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in a evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Email and phone correspondence with agencies and team members.
• Track project statuses through project management software.
• Record information in company databases.
• Occasional travel to CA Central Valley and out-of-state projects.
• Prepare permit application packages.
• Manage environmental consultations.
• Stay up to date with policy changes.
