Job summary

Groundworks, a leading foundation repair and water management company in North America, is seeking a Centralized Permit Coordinator at our Virginia Beach, VA branch. You will coordinate permitting processes for residential and commercial projects, ensuring timely approvals, inspections, and compliant documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to resolve blockers to keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, track, and maintain permit applications and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate permit approvals, revisions, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Work with municipalities, inspectors, engineers, utilities, homeowners, and internal teams to obtain required approvals.
