Job summary

Grand Canyon Development Partners in Las Vegas is seeking a Permits Coordinator to join the Design & Construction division. You will review and submit permit packages, coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and keep project teams informed on status and changes.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of related experience, OSHA 10 within 3 months, and proficiency in Windows/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook; AutoCAD or Suretrack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Administration or related field is preferred.
• One or more years of experience in design, construction, or with utilities/regulatory agencies preferred.
• OSHA 10 hour certification required (must obtain within 3 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and submits submission packages to Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Maintains detailed records of correspondence among Authorities Having Jurisdiction, the client, and project team.
• Produces weekly and monthly reports detailing submission status.
• Coordinates and attends meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Assists supervisor and staff with document review for accuracy.
