As a permit specialist, you are responsible for obtainment of permits, quote preparation, and assisting in over-dimensional loads. You will also provide permits and detailed instructions to drivers regarding over-dimensional loads. We are looking for someone who will take pride in developing and maintaining good working relationships with our drivers and our operations staff. This is a full-time position located at our Marshfield, WI headquarters.

The Experience

• Assists in obtaining permits for over-dimension loads, arranging escorts, explaining permit procedures and general route information.
• Preparation of quotes.
• Works with customer service and operations staff for routing and general permit questions.
• Explains Canadian customs and routing procedures to drivers.
• Maintain databases.
• Works with state and provincial authorities.
