Job summary

The Permitting Coordinator at TEKsystems is based in Phoenix, AZ, supporting fiber and telecom construction projects by obtaining and tracking required permits. You will coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure timely submissions, approvals, and ongoing permit compliance in line with local regulations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of permitting or coordination experience in telecommunications or utilities, familiarity with GIS mapping,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of permitting, telecommunications, utility, or construction coordination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fiber optic, OSP, FTTH, and broadband deployment projects.
• Familiarity with municipal, county, state, and DOT permitting processes.
• Experience with GIS mapping systems, permit tracking databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and engineering documents.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with municipalities, utilities, and internal stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
