The Permitting Coordinator at TEKsystems is based in Phoenix, AZ, supporting fiber and telecom construction projects by obtaining and tracking required permits. The Permitting Coordinator is responsible for obtaining and tracking permits required for fiber and telecommunications construction projects. This role coordinates with municipalities, utility companies, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure all permits are submitted, approved, and maintained in compliance with local regulations while supporting project timelines and deployment goals.

2+ years of permitting, telecommunications, utility, or construction coordination experience preferred.
Knowledge of fiber optic, OSP, FTTH, and broadband deployment projects.
Familiarity with municipal, county, state, and DOT permitting processes.
Experience with GIS mapping systems, permit tracking databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and engineering documents.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with municipalities, utilities, and internal stakeholders.
This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
