Job summary

Ryan Homes, a brand of NVR, is seeking a Permit Administrator to support the division by coordinating between team members and external parties to ensure permits are prepared, submitted, and tracked efficiently. You will help the division achieve weekly home starts through strong organization and attention to detail.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineers, Developers, Architectural Services, and permitting agencies to address comments and certify products in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong problem analysis skills.
• High degree of self-motivation.
• Experience with homebuilding industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and track permits for the county/city jurisdictions where we are actively building.
• Coordinate between Engineers, Developers and Architectural Services any comments relative to the permit process to ensure comments are being addressed and delivered to appropriate agencies.
• Coordinate submissions of architecture and follow-up on all comments to enable product to get certified.
• Obtain Driveway and Sediment Control bonds as necessary.
• Manage fees with permit runners to obtain permits within appropriate timeframes.

You will coordinate between various members of the division team as well as outside parties and be a true asset to help the division reach goals for the number of homes they can start building each week.
