TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time or part-time permanent opportunity with an established urgent care practice in Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to focus on direct patient care in a supportive, well-equipped clinical environment without the administrative responsibilities associated with operating a private practice. Providers will treat a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients as young as 6 months, while benefiting from flexible scheduling and a strong work-life balance.

Schedule

• Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week
• Part-Time: Flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend availability
• Work-Life Balance: Three- to four-day workweek and block scheduling options
• Call Requirements: No on-call responsibilities
• Clinic Hours - Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Clinic Hours - Weekends: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries requiring urgent care.
• Assess and treat pediatric patients as young as 6 months, along with adolescent and adult patients.
• Perform annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret laboratory results and X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform minor procedures requiring local anesthesia.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Provide efficient, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.

Practice Environment

Outpatient urgent care setting with a diverse range of patient conditions.

On-site CLIA-approved laboratory with moderately complex testing capabilities.

On-site digital X-ray equipment.

State-of-the-art clinical equipment and paperless documentation.

Administrative, billing, collections, and office-management responsibilities handled by the practice.

No on-call responsibilities or overnight shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Tennessee.
• Pediatric clinical experience is required.
• Emergency Department experience is preferred.
• Full-Time: Board certification or board eligibility, as applicable to the provider's discipline.
• Part-Time: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• CAQH registration.
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
