Responsibilities

• Reports to the building administrator or school secretary upon arrival.
• Reviews lesson plans and schedules before students arrive.
• Maintains routines and classroom procedures and may grade work left by the absent teacher.
• Teaches the outlined lesson and follows the schedule.
• Consults with administration to understand the schedule and assignments.
• Maintains a positive classroom climate and enthusiastic teaching/learning environment.
• Promotes positive interaction with students and complies with policies.
