Job summary

Tolleson HS in Tolleson, AZ seeks a Permanent Guest Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to cover classrooms as needed and report to the assigned school site on a daily basis. The role runs as a 1.0 FTE position.

Applicants must hold a valid Arizona Standard or Emergency Substitute certificate, or Standard Substitute Teacher Certificate, plus a minimum of 60 college credits or a bachelor’s degree, and a DPS Identity Verified Print (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Standard Arizona certificate, or an Arizona Emergency Substitute certificate or Standard Substitute Teacher Certificate.
• Minimum of 60 college credits or a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned school site and cover for teachers on a daily basis.
• Work eight hours per day on scheduled workdays.
