Job summary

New Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a substitute teacher to provide coverage in the middle school. This role requires the ability to manage classrooms, follow districts policies, and support student learning in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will hold Indiana teaching licensure or a substitute permit, possess flexibility, and demonstrate strong teamwork and decision-making skills to collaborate with staff and ensure smooth supervision during Study Hall and lunch

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred.
• Licensure or permit in Indiana preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical substitute teaching duties on a consistent basis.
• Perform office/clerical work when necessary.
• Ability to assist with supervisory responsibilities - Study Hall, Cafeteria, ISS, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by Middle School Administration.
