A 171-bed hospital that offers a broad scope of services in major medical disciplines. A medical staff of more than 33 affiliated physicians represents a broad cross-section of expertise in 31 medical specialties.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work.
• The position requires extensive contact with the administration, medical staff, nursing service, hospital staff, and nonhospital personnel (vendors, auditors).
• This position is responsible for the oversight and leadership of clinical activities of the pharmacy department.
• The role participates in standards of practice, ensures quality and patient safety regarding medication management and process improvement activities.

Exempt Position.

Please note that the salary is a range, top rate $150,000 is for a candidate with 15+ years of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in the state required on hire.
• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
• 5+ years as pharmacist in a critical care hospital
• Experience as Lead or Leadership role.
