Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will provide distributive pharmacy services, support the registered pharmacist, handle inventory control, and prepare orders while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Applicants should be a high school graduate, registered with the state pharmacy board, and PTCB-certified. The role offers full-time hours, varied shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being

Responsibilities

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and support for the registered pharmacist, including medication preparation, dispensing support, inventory control, and related clerical tasks.
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
• Fill medication carts daily.
• Prepare orders and maintains pharmacy inventory.
• Repackages bulk medications as needed.
• Compounds sterile and hazardous products per established procedures.
• Maintain drug inventory, including purchases, returns, restocking, stock rotation, backorders, recalls, shortages, and loan/borrow processes.
• Participate in performance improvement and required education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Medication reconciliation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:
