PERMANENT BUILDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHER REMAINDER OF THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR - HIGH SCHOOL
Substitute Teaching Needed in All Teaching Areas
Current License, Ability to Pass FBI/BCI, Experience Working with Students and/or Children
The purpose of this position is to provide ongoing daily and consistent substitute teaching support for each school building. We are hiring substitute teachers for each of our four schools. This is a one year position and the permanent building substitute will be hired for the entire school year.
Title: SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Reports to: Assigned administrator/supervisor
Implements lesson plans prepared by the absent teacher. Note: Substitute employees may be required to perform ancillary duties assigned to the absent employee.
Physical Demand Level1: Sedentary strength (seldom lifting/carrying more than 11 lbs.). Duties require communicating verbally, far/near visual acuity, fine/gross manipulation, reaching at or below shoulder height, standing/walking, stooping, and using a traditional keyboard. 1 Abridged listing of U.S. Department of Labor physical demand characteristics. Note: Legally acceptable alternative qualifications, additional assignment-specific skills, and other physical demands deemed appropriate by the board may be delineated at the time of appointment.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of subject matter and pedagogy. Implements best practices that support continuous improvement in student participation and achievement.
