Job summary

Texas Family Initiative in Texas is seeking a full-time Permanency Supervisor to lead the permanency staff and support improved outcomes for children in foster care.

The role requires direct supervisory experience in permanency, conservatorship, FBSS, or CPI, with DFPS or similar agencies preferred. A Predictive Index assessment is part of the hiring process, and the organization offers a competitive benefits package.

Texas Family Initiative is hiring a full‑time Permanency Supervisor. The average salary is $67,204.80, including wages, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the permanency staff assigned to the area.
• Promote the well‑being of children in the Permanency Services Program.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing permanency services.
• Perform duties directly or through subordinates, interacting routinely with clients, judges, attorneys, children, school personnel and other community partners.

Candidate Requirements

• Direct supervisory experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Permanency Supervision
• Conservatorship Supervision
• Family‑Based Safety Services (FBSS) Supervision
• Child Protective Investigations (CPI) Supervision
• Experience may be gained through DFPS, an SSCC, or a comparable child welfare agency.
• Show compassion, eagerness to learn, and a desire to help families in crisis.
• Agree to complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the hiring process.

Sign‑On Bonus (External Candidates Only)

• $5,000 for candidates with 3–4 years of qualifying supervisory experience.
• $8,000 for candidates with 5+ years of qualifying supervisory experience.
