Job summary

Bethany Christian Services in Harrisburg, PA seeks a SWAN Permanency Specialist to develop home studies, support placement, and guide families through permanency processes. You will ensure documentation aligns with state licensure and agency standards while collaborating with social services professionals.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and adherence to faith-based mission, with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field from an accredited college.
• Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field is a plus.
• Experience with writing home studies for domestic adoptions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop home studies and family profiles for initially approved families according to agency procedures.
• Complete reports and documents to ensure timely submission in line with agency expectations.
• Provide placement and post-placement services for adoptive families in accordance with licensure and Bethany standards.
• Coordinate care with local areas and other professionals to ensure high-quality service.
