Job summary

Bethanna is seeking a Permanency Worker to manage SWAN referrals, including child welfare, adoption matching, and post-permanency support. The role covers placement supervision, finalizations, and coordinating services for families pursuing permanency outcomes.

The candidate will handle documentation, case reviews with the Permanency Supervisor, and engage with children and families to support reunification, adoption, PLC, or APPLA goals in a compliant, client-centered manner.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required but a Master’s Degree is preferred, in the field of Social Work or a related field preferred.
• Experience in child welfare or adoption casework is beneficial.
• Experience working with children and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Permanency Worker provides matching services and supervision after the placement of a child for adoption.
• The worker is responsible for all documentation and paperwork necessary in the completion of any child services that are referred.
• He/she will meet regularly with the Permanency Supervisor to review cases and discuss practice skills to improve case management and practice skills.
