Job summary

Family Resource Center of South Florida is seeking a Permanency Staffing Specialist/Facilitator to coordinate permanency staffings for children in out-of-home care, ensuring timely progress per CFOP and Florida Statutes. You will engage all parties and document outcomes with sensitivity to the child's needs.

Reporting to the Intake and Permanency Manager, you will manage scheduling, required documentation, SACWIS entries within 48 hours, and data-tracking.

Qualifications

  • Certified or provisionally certified by the Florida Certification Board as CWCM, CWCM-P, CWPI, or CWPI-P (Preferred).
  • At least one year’s experience in a Child Welfare, or related field.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates permanency staffing meetings to engage all parties and ensure timely permanency for children in out-of-home care.
  • Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and data-tracking per CFOP and Florida Statutes.
  • Collaborate with IPM and Case Management to ensure required outcomes and metrics are met.
  • Document staffings in SACWIS and maintain timely records.
  • Attend court hearings and trainings as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
