The Role

As a Permanency Caseworker, you'll work closely with children, families, and referral sources to build and execute comprehensive permanency plans — connecting adoptive and kinship families with the individualized support they need for stable, lasting placements. You'll provide the full range of SWAN service units, including:

• Child Profiles and Child Preparation Services
• Child‑Specific Recruitment
• Family Profiles and Placement
• In‑home visits, case advocacy, and ongoing family support

Services are delivered in home and community settings. Both full‑time (40 hrs/week) and part‑time positions are available.

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or internship (preferred, not required)
• Experience working with trauma‑impacted individuals and families
• Strong relationship‑building and one‑on‑one communication skills
• Excellent organizational and computer skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or non‑traditional hours as needed
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, community‑based environment
