Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing services to patients with diverse conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life in a clinical setting within Delaware.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active state SLP license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred or required as applicable.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Provide comprehensive speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing services to patients with a variety of conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication, functional abilities, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programs.
• Recommend appropriate communication strategies and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active state SLP license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
