Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to provide on-site ultrasound services at nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional facilities, and other sites. You will travel between locations using a company vehicle to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and submit images for radiologist interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• General and vascular ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS or CCI credentials required; limited licenses are not accepted.
• Active ARDMS or CCI registration for vascular ultrasound required.
• Valid drivers license.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions must include documentation.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic smartphone and computer skills.
• Must transport equipment weighing 18-20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and submit them for radiologist interpretation.
• Verify physician orders and confirm patient identity using two identifiers before performing examinations.
• Maintain accurate exam documentation and submit required paperwork promptly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, facility staff, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure the company vehicle is kept in good condition.
• Travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle and follow dispatch schedules.
• Follow infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and professional ethics.
• Maintain required health screenings and complete mandatory training.
• Travel independently between assigned facilities and follow dispatch schedules.

MOBILE ULTRASOUND SONOGRAPHER.

Position Overview:

Provide mobile ultrasound services at nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional facilities, and other assigned sites. Travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.


• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and electronically submit them for radiologist interpretation.


• Verify physician orders and confirm patient identity using two identifiers before performing examinations.


• Maintain accurate exam documentation and submit required paperwork promptly.


• Communicate professionally with dispatch, facility staff, supervisors, and clients.


• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure the company vehicle is kept in good condition.


• Respond promptly to urgent communications and manage assignments independently.


• Follow infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and professional ethics.
