Purposelink Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time role with extensive regional travel. The position involves delivering mobile vascular ultrasound services across multiple facilities using a company vehicle, requiring autonomy and strong technical skills.

Travel to various client sites is a core element of the job. The candidate should hold an RVS and be licensed or certified (RVT/RDMS/ARDMS) with an Associate degree or higher and COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Sonography experience.
• Must hold RVS certification or be eligible.
• Valid licenses: RVT, RDMS or ARDMS.
• Valid driver licenses: DL or CDL.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Self-dispatch or coordinate with dispatch to manage daily case load.
• Transport, set up, and operate portable sonographic equipment at client sites.
• Perform physician-ordered vascular exams and transmit images to Radiologists.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders before scanning.
• Maintain company vehicle and imaging equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to ethics, policies, and code of conduct.
• Provide daily scanning and billing documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Self‑dispatch or coordinate with the dispatch department to receive daily case loadTransport, set up, and operate portable sonographic equipment at client facilitiesPerform physician‑ordered vascular ultrasound exams and transmit images digitally to RadiologistsVerify patient identity using two identifiers and confirm exam orders prior to scanningCheck voicemail and dispatch system regularly throughout the shiftMaintain company uniform, name tag, and phone at all timesRespond to urgent communications within 15 minutesAttend required meetings and training sessionsMaintain company vehicle and imaging equipment in proper working conditionAdhere to medical ethics, drug‑free workplace policies, and company code of conductTrain and mentor other technologists as neededComplete daily scanning and submission of exam paperwork and billing documentationProvide annual documentation of medical physical exams, TB screening, and infection control compliance

SCHEDULE & SHIFT DETAILS

Travel to multiple locations including nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sitesMust arrive at the first case at shift start or leave home 30 minutes priorCheck in with dispatch every 30 minutes as required
