Stafflucid is seeking an X-ray Technologist I in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role involves performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining related records.

Shift is 7a-7:30p with a union presence. Requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and BLS. Eligible applicants may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning and exposure techniques.
• Operates equipment within modality and maintains related records.
• Sets up immobilization and radiation protection devices as needed.
• Assesses patient size, thickness, age, and condition to perform examinations.
• Assists physician with procedures and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Maintains documentation and notations; participates in QA/QC procedures.
• Supports the education of radiology students during training.

Shift: 7a-730p Union: Yes Responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, equipment operation, and for maintaining related records.

Job Duties

• Performs standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient position, identification and exposure techniques.
• Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment within modality.
• Sets up and adjusts immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.
• Reviews and analyzes patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology in performing examinations.
• Assists physician with various procedures.
• Reports equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.
• Maintains related records and notations.
• Assists in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.
• Participates in the educational training of students.
