Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks a Permanent Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-home therapy services and assess functional abilities. The role focuses on developing individualized plans and improving independence in daily living activities.

Requirements include an ACOTE-accredited OT program, an active Iowa OT license (compact allowed), BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. NBCOT eligibility is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program is required.
• Active Iowa OT license is required.
• Compact license accepted per job requirements.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with a similar patient population is required.
• NBCOT exam eligibility or completed examination is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services and assess patients’ functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence and activities of daily living.
• Recommend environmental modifications and deliver interventions to enhance independence.

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Pay Range: $37.82–$56.74 per hour.
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000.

Position Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide in-home therapy services, assess patients' functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, recommend environmental modifications, and deliver interventions to improve patients' independence and daily living activities.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program – REQUIRED.
• Active Iowa OT license – REQUIRED.
• Compact license accepted, as indicated in the job requirements.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance – REQUIRED.
• BLS/CPR certification – REQUIRED.
• At least 1 year of experience caring for a similar patient population – REQUIRED.
• NBCOT exam eligibility or completed examination – Highly preferred.
• Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse.
