The position requires an NP with advanced neonatal credentials, NC APRN licensure, and 2+ years of experience, with a sign-on bonus and relocation support available.

Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:

• Full-time opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a well-established Level III NICU team in the greater Charlotte, NC region
• Work collaboratively alongside 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs serving families across Gaston and surrounding counties
• NNPs provide 20 hours/day of shift coverage, collaborating with neonatologists who provide in-house daytime coverage and home call at night
• Provide clinical care in the Level III NICU and assist with coverage in the newborn nursery
• NICU sees approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually with an average daily census of 10
• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing required
• APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP required (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of current experience as an NNP required (RN experience does not count toward this requirement)
• Active North Carolina APRN license required (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) required at presentation
