Job summary

Restaurant Depot in Alsip, IL is seeking a Stocker - Perishables to provide prompt customer service and stock shelves in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will also assist with inventory rotation and maintain clean, safe work areas.

The role requires handling loads and complying with HACCP regulations, with 8–10 hour shifts, full/part-time options, and union benefits. This position is on-site in a wholesale distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse stocking and customer service is preferred.
• Ability to follow HACCP guidelines and safety procedures.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service on the floor.
• Stock products on shelves and refresh displays as needed.
• Front-face items and organize shelves for easy access.
• Conduct inspections to meet HACCP standards.
• Review inventory to rotate stock and reduce shrinkage.
• Ensure shelf prices reflect current pricing.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards.
• Coordinate with Hi-Lo operators to keep floor stocked and safe.
• Notify supervisors of low or out-of-stock items.
