Job summary

Food Lion in Wesley Chapel, NC is seeking a team member for the Perishable Department to deliver quality customer service and maintain high standards. You will handle ordering, receiving, stocking, and display of meat, dairy, and other perishables, while adhering to safety guidelines and store policies.

Responsibilities include helping customers, using inventory tools, rotating stock, and ensuring proper product levels.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.

• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and stock as needed.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies.
• Maintain proper product levels in perishables including meat, dairy, and frozen items.
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and maintain department cleanliness.
• Maintain department standards and comply with advertising and promotions.
