Job summary

Food Lion in Milton, DE is hiring a Perishable Department associate to deliver fast, friendly and accurate service while upholding company standards.

You will help maintain meat, dairy, frozen and other perishable items, receive deliveries, rotate stock and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and store policies.

Training is provided, including CBT and on-the-job instruction; prior customer service experience in a retail setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and other perishable areas.
• Follow Food Lion policies, safety guidelines and local regulations.
• Complete CBT and training as required.
