Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store appropriately.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise adheres to guidelines.
• Maintain product levels in Perishable Department including meat, lunch meat, dairy, ice cream.
• Process beef and grinds as directed from production tools; weigh and stock meat cases.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean the grinder as requested.
• Clean and sanitize the department; maintain layout standards.
• Ensure promotional materials are utilized; adhere to guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report accidents to Manager on Duty.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge; present neat appearance.
• Complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and training courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
