Job summary

US1277 FreshPoint South Florida, Inc. is seeking a Finance position specialist to monitor the quality of perishable products in the warehouse, input order information through data entry, and support overall quality control operations.

You will regularly exercise discretion in daily tasks, ensure shipping readiness, and communicate quality status to inventory and procurement teams while adhering to safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior warehouse, inventory control or merchandising experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Check produce in slots daily to ensure it is up to standard for shipping.
• Communicate regularly with necessary parties on the company’s status of product quality.
• Notify Inventory Control Manager and buyers of quality issues and assist in resolutions.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage and damage accounting.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and outbound product and document product condition.
• Analyze, identify, and propose action to solve quality-related problems.
• Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
