Job summary

FreshPoint Connecticut, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Associate to monitor the quality of perishable products in the warehouse and input order data.

The role includes daily product checks, data entry, reporting quality issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies. Prior warehouse or inventory control experience is preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse, inventory control or merchandising experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Check produce in slots daily to ensure set up product is up to acceptable standards.
• Communicate with Inventory Control Manager, Compliance Manager and buyers on quality issues and resolutions.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage, warehouse damage, truck damage, etc.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and outbound product and document condition.
• Analyze and propose solutions to quality assurance problems.
• Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
