Job summary

Food Lion in Manchester, TN is seeking a team member to provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department. You will help maintain product freshness, rotate stock, and assist customers with friendly, fast service, while upholding company policies and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking meat, dairy, and prepared foods, following the standard practice manual, and using store tools like ACIS and CAO to ensure accurate ordering and inventory

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper product levels in all Perishable Department areas (meat, dairy, frozen, etc.).
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise.
• Understand and follow Food Lion policies, standard practice, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and display of merchandise.
