Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store associate for the Perishable Department in Spring Hill, TN. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service while maintaining product levels across meat, dairy, frozen, and other perishables.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines. Prior experience with ACIS/CAO is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, and displaying of merchandise.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and other perishables.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge on duty.
• Complete CBT, training packets and training aids.
