Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department Associate to provide quality customer service and maintain standards in the Perishable Department. You will help maximize sales while minimizing shrink through proper product handling, rotation, and adherence to standard practices.

The role involves receiving deliveries, stocking, and ensuring proper product levels in meat, dairy, and other perishable categories, while following safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Ability to learn and use store systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Maintain standards per standard practice manual; maximize sales.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise appropriately.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and other Perishable areas.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
