Job summary

Food Lion in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Perishable Department team member to provide quality customer service, maintain standards in the Perishable area, and help maximize sales while minimizing shrink.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise.
• Maintain proper product levels in Perishable Department areas including meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and frozen items.
• Follow Food Lion policies and guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Maintain department cleanliness and adhere to safety and dress code requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and observe safety procedures.
