Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follow policies.
• Maintain product levels in the Perishable Department including meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, and ice cream.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents per established Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty.
