Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated team member to provide quality customer service in the Perishable Department of our Portsmouth, VA store. You will help with stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise while maintaining standards and ensuring safety guidelines are followed.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, teamwork with associates, and accurate handling of inventory and labeling. Previous retail experience is a plus; training and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service in the Perishables Department.
• Assist with receiving, stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, lunchmeat, and frozen sections.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist in adhering to policies and standard practices.
• Complete all duties as assigned.
