Job summary

You will receive deliveries, rotate and stock merchandise, maintain product levels in meat, dairy and frozen sections, follow safety and training guidelines, and help minimize shrink while helping customers find what they need.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service in the Perishable Department to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per guidelines.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen areas.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat as needed.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment as directed.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
