Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a team-oriented associate for the Perishable Department. You will deliver fast, friendly and accurate customer service, rotate stock, and assist with meat and dairy displays while following standard practices.

Attend to deliveries, maintain product levels, and ensure safety guidelines are followed to minimize shrink and enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Maintain standards per the standard practice manual.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise properly.
• Ensure proper product levels in meat, dairy, and related sections.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
