Job summary

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Hawai‘i is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Perioperative Transition department. You will provide nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation and may serve as an associate to a charge nurse, gradually assuming charge nurse responsibilities.

A Hawai‘i RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS cards are required, along with one year of recent RN experience in Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery in

Qualifications

• Current Hawai’i Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards.
• One year of recent registered nurse experience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery in a hospital or Ambulatory Surgery acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care.
• Function as an associate to a charge nurse, and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.
