Job summary

Emplify Health is seeking a Perioperative Technician to join our surgical team in Minnesota. The role supports nurses and providers with patient care during procedures and maintains a safe, organized operating room environment.

This position is 0.8 FTE, 64 hours bi-weekly, with a consistent day schedule and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-MN).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning).
• 1 year of work experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assistance during surgery and procedures.
• Support the surgical team during operations and patient handling.
• Follow the directions of an RN or Provider to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The Perioperative Technician, under the direction and general supervision of an RN or Provider, works with the team to provide basic care of patients and assistance during surgery and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• 0.8 FTE. 64 hours bi-weekly
• Work 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday, Days Vary
• No weekends or holidays

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-MN)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• 1 year of work experience working in a health care setting
