Mayo Clinic is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide safe, efficient care in the operating room under RN supervision and in collaboration with the surgeon. The role emphasizes sterile technique, instrument prep, and teamwork within the perioperative setting.

Qualified candidates will have NBSTSA certification within one year of hire and current BLS. Full-time schedule features 8-hour rotating shifts with on-call weekend responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited or military surgical technology program.
• NBSTSA certification required within one year of hire date and maintained thereafter.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe and efficient care to the surgical patient under the supervision of the RN and in collaboration with the surgeon.
• Scrub role: select, prepare, and maintain instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Apply sterile and aseptic technique and adapt to unpredictable perioperative situations.
• Be a member of the surgical team, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and instrumentation.
