Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital seeks a Surgical Technologist Educator to provide clinical education for surgical technologists and students within perioperative care areas. You will lead orientation, competency assessments, and educational initiatives, collaborating with the Perioperative Education team and nursing leadership to support professional growth and evidence-based practice.

The role requires strong teaching, travel to multiple hospital locations, and a commitment to regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
Associate's degree with four years of related experience.
BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
Strong time management and teamwork skills.
Computer skills with Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic locations and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide surgical technology programs and orientation for new hires and students.
Serve as liaison to academic partners and committees.
Update, monitor and manage education databases.
Design and evaluate educational offerings for caregivers.
Coordinate continuing education and clinical rotations.
Assist in interviewing and onboarding of new caregivers.
Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and policies.
