Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO is seeking a Perioperative Support role. This onsite position offers a full-time schedule with 64 hours per pay period (two weeks) and a flex shift. Pay ranges from $19.67 to $25.57 per hour, dependent on experience.

The role provides support for perioperative patient flow, cleaning and disinfecting surgical surfaces, and assisting with transportation and preparation of patients within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required.
• Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant. Minimum Experience: None required.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date. BLS card must be good through sixty days of hire. All renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stores required equipment.
• Restocks linens and supplies.
• Assists as needed for transportation and preparation of patients. Transports blood products and specimens.
• Assists the Perioperative team as needed.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
