Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Perioperative Supervisor for the Fair Oaks area. This full-time role offers day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the hospital recognized for safety and quality.

You will lead perioperative staff, ensure readiness for surgical cases, and collaborate across departments to support patient care. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, BLS certification within 3 months, and 3 years of operating room experience with perioperative

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
Experience: 3 years in Operating Room with perioperative equipment knowledge and materials management processes.

Responsibilities

Ensures staff competencies are up to date and supports staff development.
Reviews surgical schedule and ensures equipment and supplies are available for cases.
Communicates policies to vendor community and coordinates with sales representatives.
Provides clinical education on safety equipment and infection control.
Partners with Materials Management, Shipping/Receiving, Environmental Services, Engineering and Biomedical departments to support operations.
