Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Attendant to support surgical areas and patient care prep. The role involves cleaning operating room suites between cases, transporting supplies and records, and maintaining lounge and storage areas in collaboration with the EVS team. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).

Preferred experience in a hospital setting. Full-time Day shift with benefits available.

• Organizational, verbal interpersonal, and customer relations skills required.
• Good grammar, reading and comprehension of written instructions.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and use basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans operating room suites or procedure rooms between cases and assists with terminal cleaning as requested.
• Performs timely delivery and pickup of supplies, records, x-rays, orders, and equipment as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of lounge and changing rooms in collaboration with Environmental Services.
• Cleans storage areas and stocks supplies such as scrub brushes, masks, shoe covers, hats, cleaning supplies, and garbage bags.
• Assists in patient care preparation, including completing pre-op checklists, shaving surgical sites, and performing betadine scrubs.
